Liebster Award ☆

{I'm a bit in late to write and publish this blog post and I can do nothing but apologize for the inconvenience.

About a month ago I was reading some articles in Uma's Nail Art blog when I realized "Pedrìnails" was quoted between the five pages chosen by her for the Liebster Blog Award! Uma is a brilliant indian nail art blogger I enjoy reading the posts on her blog since the very beginning of my virtual travel around the world of nail art blogs. I want to say thanks to her for the nomination and I'd like you to go read her blog, it's worth it. Anyway, I'm so proud of this nomination because I never expected my young and tiny blog to draw the attention of a nail art lover who's far away from my Country.

But let me talk about the Liebster Blog Award! It's an alternative and amazing way of placing greater empashis on nail art blogs which have less than 1000 followers and, thanks to the nominator's opinion, get more visibility. The nominator and the 5 bloggers who receive the Liebster Award nomination go into creating a sort of chain letter that allows to discover beginners blogs and promote visiting into their art. Here there are the conditions of the nomination and the answers given by me to the questions made by Uma for the nominated bloggers.

The Official Rules of the Liebster Award:

If you have been nominated for The Liebster Award and you choose to accept it, write a blog post about the Liebster Award in which you:

1. Thank the person who nominated you, and post a link to their blog on your blog.
2. Display the award on your blog — by including it in your post and/or displaying it using a “widget” or a “gadget”. (Note that the best way to do this is to save the image to your own computer and then upload it to your blog post).
3. Answer 11 questions about yourself, which will be provided to you by the person who nominated you.
4. Provide 11 random facts about yourself.
5. Nominate 5 – 11 blogs that you feel deserve the award, who have a less than 1000 followers. (Note that you can always ask the blog owner this since not all blogs display a widget that lets the readers know this information!)
6. Create a new list of questions for the blogger to answer.
7. List these rules in your post (you can copy and paste from here). Once you have written and published it, you then have to:

Here are my answers to the 11 questions provided by Uma:

I think my destiny has not been written yet completely and I don't know what the future days will reserve to me but if anything occurs, I hope I'll be able to act in the best and most satisfactory way possibile.

I'm obsessed with protective base coats and definitely I can't live without them! I started making nail arts on myself before I even realized it was essential to care about my nails and to use a base coat. Anyway, these tips helped my nails so much to become strong and healthy like they're now. So probably the nail stuff on top of my wishlist could be "the perfect nail lacquer base coat" that could include all the best features of a nail polish (strengthener, strong and hardening effects, smooth and glossy appearance, long term duration on nails and long shelf life).

If I could aim high I'd like to say Narmai from PiggieLuv: she's one of the most brilliant nail artists among those that I know actually. I think she's incredibly genial and innovative to produce unconventional nail arts. I find her incredibly brave in her propositions on nails, especially when she publishes crazy 3D creations and produces some real masterpieces on her small canvases. I feel ecstatic every time she publish a new nail art (Wouldn't you think the same seeing her last creation? Or any of her creations..).

My favourite technique is...improvisation haha! Actually I probably should say gradient and sponged manicure are my favourite ones because they allow you to create very beautiful shades and shadows on base colours and often that's the right way to start creating a landscape or every kind of scenery that will be developed on an already set background.

My favourite nail polish shades are dark purple and ottanio with warm tones in their reflexes (better if they're with glitter finish): they fill my eyes just looking at them!

Libra is my zodiac sign and actually it represents me a lot.

My favourite movie is "Così è la vita" made by Aldo, Giovanni & Giacomo, a hilarious trio of italian actors. I love all their comedies!

Mystery is my absolute favourite genre.

I make...nail art, obviously haha! When I'm not committed to my studies I like singing and playing piano at the same time and finding inspiration for my art in every free moment of the day.

My favourite simple delight I like to taste in the afternoon is soy-based yogurt in which I add muesli and dried fruits.

To this day, I can say the happiest moment of my life was when I realized my dream to see and listen to my favorite rock band in live concert for the first time.
